How Law Firms Can Accept Payments through Acuity Scheduling

This article shows law firms how to use Gravity Legal to accept payment for appointments scheduled in Acuity Scheduling.

1. Create a new appointment type in Acuity with the name of the appointment and the associated fee amount. Then click Show a message after scheduling

2. Create a Standing Link in Gravity Legal for the amount of the appointment. Select the bank account you would like the funds deposited into and optionally enter a URL redirect where the payer will be directed after the payment is complete. For more on standing links, view this page.

3. In Acuity under the Show a message after scheduling box, enter a payment message and include the Gravity Legal Standing Link.

4. After a client schedules an appointment, they will see this message. From there, they can click the link to make payment. Once payment is complete, they will be automatically directed to the redirect URL.
